Berlin. No sprawl in the ADL is as infamous and famous as the dystopian megaplex on the Spree. Years of anarchy have shaped the cityscape and its metahumans, and the reconquest of corporate territory has brought new color to Berlin's shadows. From the secure corporate districts around Tegel and Tempelhof to the darkest corners of Xhain, from the critter farms in Schönwalde to the freethinker communes in Köpenick: nowhere else do so many and such sharp fronts collide in thought and at neighborhood boundaries. And nowhere are the dangers more present: corporate intrigues threaten neighborhoods, sprawl guerrillas threaten corporations, organized crime threatens freedom in the anarchist zones, and even darker secrets threaten the entire city. And in the midst of it all, among armed Berliners, corporate guards, Vory soldiers, and gangsters on kamikaze runs, runners seek their fortune in the shadows.
Berlin 2080 is the first sourcebook for Shadowrun 6 and a German in-house production. It offers detailed background information on the individual city districts, numerous different locations, hotspots such as the autonomous island fortress Eiswerder and the Sorbs in the Spreewald, underworld power groups, and corporate groups. In addition to descriptions of the Dreamland sprawl, the Discordians, and the hidden life beneath the city, it also offers a wealth of additional material: NPC stats, floor plans, flair tips for the gaming table, weapons, and vehicles, as well as a removable, large-format poster with maps of Berlin, Berlin's central district, and Dreamland, which precisely locate hundreds of locations.
