A shadowy killer is killing nightclub owners in Kings Cross, Australia, and terrifying the entire community with his heinous deeds. Ninniniru "Ninn" Tossinn, a private investigator with a dark past, and Barega, an Aboriginal shaman, team up to unmask the culprit, putting themselves on the killer's hit list. Both hunter and hunted, it becomes increasingly clear to them that entirely different forces lurk behind the crimes. So Ninn and Barega embark on a search for the truth, which takes them through the mana storms of Sydney, dark alleys, and shark-infested waters—and demands the utmost from both of them.
