The urban jungle of Berlin in the year 2076 is a melting pot of unscrupulous corporations, the omnipresent sprawl guerrillas, and Turkish nationalists. Paul Dante has little left to offer to avoid getting lost in the tangle of greed, power, and digital drugs. The private investigator's career is in ruins, his magic has almost burned out, and his friends list contains more enemies than he can count. When an assignment from the sunny side of the metroplex lands on his virtual desk, he doesn't hesitate for long. Zeta-ImpChem manager Mailin Nowak is searching for a missing local politician and is willing to pay the private investigator a large sum of money if he can locate the missing man. Paul has no idea that he is embarking on the most dangerous journey of his life, one in which he has far more to lose than just his sanity.
